It allows you to choose from the many test techniques available and structure them together seamlessly to form a complete test program in the graphic TestFlow software.
PinPoint UDA allows for the test of multiple different units on one system, and tests all types of device technology using advanced pin electronics. It has a flexible and expandable technical capability to test current and future modules and circuits, and multiple test techniques include functional edge on modules and circuits with excellent fault finding capability. These multiple test strategies mean that maximum fault coverage is achieved.
Test methods include in-circuit, functional edge, boundary scan, cluster, analog, mixed signal, Analog signature (VI), CPU assisted, fixtureless, Bed-of-Nails, reverse schematic generation, edge connector and module connector
PinPoint UDA is intuitive and fast to learn. Interactive documentation and help facilities are included in the software, along with an extensive library of device functional test routines including Western and Russian devices.
It provides integral reverse engineering of schematic diagrams for testing circuits that don’t have information. Maintenance and calibration instructions are included in the system documentation to ensure your system provides best no compromise test coverage. The system has up to 240 digital dynamic test channels, and up to 15MHz data rate. High and consistent data rates ensure a more thorough testing of a device to find more faults.
The system allows you to find more faults through built-in DMM, waveform generator, oscilloscope, counter-time, shorts locator, Performance Test Module, LCR bridge, Analog Signature Analysis and programmable power supplies.
PinPoint UDA conforms to the Defence Standard 00-53 for safe testing of any device. It easily integrates with third party instrumentation for extended analog functional testing. The graphical test program uses 'C' code. It enables immediate graphic programming of instruments with VISA drivers, and Instrument Strategizer allows you to program external instruments graphically, and to create complete test sequences quickly and easily.
